Prompt: What do you think will happen next?
When I stopped reading the antagonist, Dee, stole the book that made Nick Fleming immortal. What I think will happen next is that, Nick, Josh and his sister will go to gather some resources for a long trip going to find Dee. I think when they go to a shop, the clerk will act suspicious. Then when they are about to leave, they will be attacked with a magic fireball and when they discover the clerk is working for Dee, he will be killed by a dark mist. Then when they start to go on their journey, they get attacked by golems. They will barely win and when they do, one takes them and their stuff through a magic portal.
When they get out of the portal, they are in the middel of nowhere and their stuff is almost destroyed. They are in the middel of a wood when the portal opens up again. Then they setup camp. When they are all sound asleep, enemy ninja monsters come out of the trees and attack them. Nick will attack them with his magic mist and other magic spells and will defeat them all. All but one.
The last ninja will take Josh's sister and run off with her. The two boys chase after it but the ninja gets away. They have to take a detour to save Josh's sister. That will take them a few weeks so while they are doing that, evil will start to build forces. When they finally save his sister, doomsday is almost at hand. They save the world at the last second, but Dee gets away with the doomsday spell and vanishes through a magic portal.
