Hidden Talents

Pages 32-63
Prompt:Write a paragraph describing the setting

Well the setting is close to that of a prison.  It has big iron gates with letters across the top(which escapes me about what it spells)  You have to take a bus to get there and once you do, you get escorted inside.  Once inside there are class rooms and dorm rooms.  The class rooms are well light but have a little but of a yellow tinge of all the lights.  The windows have iron bars all over them.  Everything is done to reform the students.  All the mail goes to this one kid first and if there is something he wants, he gets it.t

  1. I've never heard of this book but I do like how you squeezed enough information in your paragraph. The prison of this book kind of reminds me of the haunted Gate in Illinois. That gate has had so many horrific stories that people don't even dare to go into it. In my opinion I think that the one kid in the last sentence you wrote is spoiled because you mentioned that he wants something he gets it. I wonder if this book is trying to represent the hidden talents within each person. Thanks for the Recommendation!

  2. You did described this book well enough so that I could actually picture the place.
